Born in South Africa, Neville Keith Matroos is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice moves between personal memory, collective history and cultural restoration. His work is rooted in Ubuntu—I am because we are - and explores identity, belonging, forced removals, intergenerational memory and healing through art.
House4Love serves as a platform for expositions, collaborations, and community projects connecting South Africa, Africa, and Europe. By utilizing visual art, recycled materials, and living archives, we explore the complexities of forced removals, intergenerational trauma, and the resilience of indigenous memory.

Across disciplines, we transform memory into dialogue, discarded materials into meaning, and lived experience into spaces for healing, belonging and collective becoming, employ a variety of mediums to facilitate dialogue, preserve memory, and foster healing.

An archive is not only about the past - it lives through us. Oral histories, photographs,objects,artworks and lived testimony preserve indigenous memory while allowing new generations to question, contribute and remember.
